The Ihram (state of sacralization for Hajj or Umrah)

The ihram is
the first rite of the Hajj (great pilgrimage) and Umrah (small pilgrimage). For umrah packages Umrah Package December 2017. It consists in
formulating the desired rite while leaving its usual habits and pronouncing the
Talbiya. It includes mandatory acts,
recommended acts (Sunna) and finally
prohibited acts.
When an
obligatory act is neglected, it is required of the pilgrim to sacrifice an
animal. If it is impossible to find a beast to sacrifice, then it will have to
fast for 10 days.
The obligations of the Ihram
1) Starting the Ihram from the Miqat, places
fixed by the Prophet ( ) through which passes the one who wants to accomplish
the hajj or the Umra and which he can not go beyond when going to Mecca without
being in state of ihram . These locations are:
- Dhul-halifah , now called Abiyar ali, is
the place of the ihram for the inhabitants of Medina.
- Al-Jouhfah , a place near Rabagh, on the
coastal road, is the place of the ihram for the inhabitants of the Maghreb,
Syria, Egypt.
- Yalamlam , now called Assa'diya, is the
place of the ihram for the inhabitants of Yemen.
- Qarn-al-Manazil , called Assayl al-Kabir,
is the place of the ihram for the inhabitants of Najd.
- Dhatou-'irq , is the place of ihram for
the inhabitants of Iraq.
These points
serve for the inhabitants of these countries as well as for those who, by
originating from these countries, take the same route. Those who are below
these points, put themselves in Ihram state from their residence, the Meccans
put themselves in Ihram state of Mecca.
